Adult Weekly Lessons
Creative Space Membership - January
PFA Studio Creative Space Membership
Unlimited access to the studio during non-business hours.
Bring your supplies and work on your creative projects at your own pace. Adults ages 18 +.
Use of easels, tables, and aprons. Access to the sink and restroom.
Unsupervised
Please note that our Creative Space Monthly Membership is unsupervised. This means you are responsible for your own safety and the safety of your belongings. Please be respectful of the studio and the other members.
Clean up
Please note that you are responsible for cleaning up and leaving the studio in the same condition as you found it.
Access information will be provided upon registration.
Ceramics 2.0 Intermediate Wheel Throwing Class - Fridays, January

January 3, 10 and 24th (No class January 17th)
Fridays at 7:00 - 9:00 pm
$215 (includes a $15 supply fee)
This intermediate wheel-throwing class is perfect for those who have mastered the basics. We'll delve deeper into advanced techniques, such as centering, pulling thinner walls, and trimming. You'll learn to create more complex forms like vases, bowls, and mugs.
This class is ideal for those who want to take their wheel-throwing skills to the next level. Let's get creative and push your limits!
Ages 13+
Ceramics Wheel Throwing Class - Saturdays January

January 4, 10 and 25 (No class January 18)
Saturdays at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Weekly for two hours
- Limited to five students
Come play with clay and learn the fundamentals of ceramics wheel throwing. Topics covered include throwing on the wheel, trimming, and glazing techniques. Students will learn to create functional and decorative pieces using the pottery wheel.
Ages 13+
Single Drop In Oil Painting - Saturday, January 4th

Saturday Single Drop In Oil Painting - This class is oil painting lessons for students 14 and over, mixed adults and teens. Open to new and existing students. All levels of skill welcome.
10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Oil Painting is not something you can learn in an afternoon. For new students, please plan on attending at least three Single Drop In classes or register for one of the monthly sessions.
Students work on their own projects, at their own pace. Please email me your reference images before class starts. Ipad's work great for viewing your reference images. I can also print them for you.

Saturday Open Studio: A Creative Haven
Join us for a relaxed and inspiring open studio session. This is the perfect opportunity to practice your wheel-throwing and handbuilding skills. You'll have access to our well-equipped studio and guidance from our resident artist.
What to expect:
Independent Practice: Work at your own pace, experimenting with different techniques and styles.
Expert Guidance: Our resident artist will be on hand to offer advice and support.
A Creative Community: Connect with other potters and share your passion for clay.
Open to students with prior wheel experience who can work independently.
Oil Painting Jan, Feb & March - Evening, Open Paint

Oil Painting Open Paint for the Months of January, February and March
Tuesdays, 3:30 - 5:30 pm
Class will meet every Tuesday January 7th through March 25th, EXCEPT for January 28th.
That is 11 classes for $550.
This class is oil painting and drawing lessons for students 14 and over, mixed adults and teens.
If you are a new student, plan on spending your first class getting to know your oil color palette and completing a color wheel.
After the first session, students work on their own pieces at their own pace. Most paintings require a minimum of three classes to complete.
You can work from your photo reference or one of mine. See the BLOG page on the website for helpful tips and reference images.
Please email me a copy of the image you would like to work from, your skill level, and anything in particular you are interested in learning.
An iPad or laptop works best for viewing your images. Printed photos work as well.
Wear old clothes as oil paint stains. You will be added to the student newsletter, so check your junk email if you don't receive it.
All supplies are provided, but please feel free to bring your favorite paintbrushes. We paint on canvas, but Ampersand Boards are available for an additional charge.
