- Weekly for two hours
- Limited to five students
This class is designed for students who have a basic understanding of pottery on the wheel and are ready to take their skills to the next level. We will delve deeper into techniques such as trimming, adding handles, and creating more complex forms. Students will also learn about glazing and firing techniques.

Students will learn to create functional and decorative pieces using the pottery wheel. The class is open to students of all skill levels. All supplies provided.

Monthly Ceramics Open Studio
Unleash Your Inner Potter!
Our Open Ceramics Studio is your personal creative sanctuary. When not occupied by classes or workshops, the studio is open for you to explore your ceramic passions.
Whether you're a seasoned potter or just starting your clay journey, you have the freedom to experiment and create without limitations. Use our pottery wheels and tools to bring your ceramic visions to life.
Membership includes:
- Wheel Access
- Slab Roller - Create beautiful clay slabs for hand-building.
- Storage Space
- Water container
- Basic pottery tools
- Basic Glazes
No instruction is provided during Open Studio hours. However, you can utilize our resource library or seek guidance from our staff during business hours.
Ages 18+ Not available for production workers creating a high volume of products. Previous experience is required, or you must have taken our beginner class.
Studio Rules:
1. To ensure its quality, you must purchase your clay from PFA Studio. Various clay bodies are available for purchase.
2. Membership includes access to a limited supply of glazes. You will want to have your own mid-range glazes, Cone 5.
3. Cleanliness: Clean-up policies will be covered at the orientation.
4. All pieces must be taken home at the end of the month.
Raffa will reach out to schedule an orientation time once you have registered.

Gnome Building Workshop

A Magical Adventure for All Ages
Sunday, October 13th and 27th
1:00 - 3:00 pm
Day 1: Gnome Construction
Join us for an afternoon of whimsical fun as we build our own adorable gnomes!
This hands-on workshop is perfect for all ages, from young children to adults. We'll provide all the necessary materials, including clay and various decorative elements. Learn basic sculpting techniques as you shape your gnome's body, head, and beard. Get creative with your design and add unique touches to make your gnome truly special.
Your creations will be fired. Then:
Day 2: Gnome Painting
Let's bring our gnomes to life with a splash of color!
Come back two weeks later to paint our creations. Choose from a variety of paints and brushes to personalize your gnome. Experiment with different colors, patterns, and textures to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
