Come learn the basics of silk painting. We will start with an explanation of what silk painting is and look at some examples of silk painting. We will then explain:
The materials needed for silk painting such as silk fabric, paintbrushes, dyes, and other tools.
Explain the different techniques used in silk painting, such as the salt technique.
Demonstrate how to paint on silk fabric using the techniques explained.
Then it will be your turn to create a 16 x 20 silk painting.
All supplies provided. Ages 18+
