This class is oil painting and drawing lessons for students 13 and over, mixed adults and teens. 

Come learn the basics of oil painting!  Students work at their own level and pace. All supplies are provided.

This class is always a favorite!  Painting on silk is a fun way to express your creativity while creating really vibrant pieces of art.

We will start by drawing our designs on paper. We then trace this onto silk. The silk is stretched onto frames, and we outline the drawings with a resist that holds the paint in our designs. The fun part is applying the paint and watching it flow. The paintings are steam set, and then we will mount them on canvas so you can enjoy them at home.

This class will begin on May 18 and run for five weeks ending on June 15.

My favorite medium - I am excited to share my love of oil painting with your Teen students.

We will start with the basics of oil painting, learning about the tools and process. Next, we will learn about the color wheel and mixing colors, and we will learn about value and how to incorporate that into our painting process.

We will be guided through a group painting, and then the students will paint from one of their reference images.

This class is a special opportunity to try a wonderful medium! Don't miss it.
